- Introduction to Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) Safety: Overview of the importance of Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) safety in various industries and environments, identification of common sources of H2S and their potential hazards.
- Understanding H2S: Properties and characteristics of H2S,the health effects of H2S exposure, OSHA regulations regarding H2S.
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment: Techniques for identifying and assessing H2S hazards in the workplace, evaluation of the potential consequences of H2S hazards.
- Control Measures: Engineering controls to reduce H2S hazards, work practices to reduce H2S hazards, personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and its proper use.
- H2S Detection and Monitoring: Understanding the different types of H2S detection and monitoring equipment, proper use, calibration, and maintenance of H2S detection and monitoring equipment.
- Emergency Preparedness and Response: Identification and management of emergency situations related to H2S hazards, emergency response procedures and emergency response teams, first aid and emergency medical services.
- Training and Communication: Importance of safety training for employees on H2S hazards, communication of H2S safety policies and procedures, employee engagement and feedback.
